ISA Montreal is organising a Dinner and Technical presentation on Fuzzy Logic Control.\u00a0 The presentation will be on\u00a0Thursday March, 28\u00a02019\u00a0at 6:00 PM\u00a0at the\u00a0Madison Grill<\/a>\u00a0and Bar’s private room located at\u00a05222\u00a0Sherbrooke E, Montreal<\/a>\u00a0.\u00a0 With the participation of\u00a0ISA Montreal<\/a>, a three courses meal and a glass of wine (or soft drinks) will be offered to ISA Members for only 40$ (a 60$ value !). At the end of the presentation you will receive a 1 hour training certificate.<\/p>\n

During this technical presentation you will learn:
\n– What is Fuzzy Logic Control
\n– How Fuzzy Logic Control is different than PID Control
\n– Understand the basic concept and explain the following terms:
\n– Rule Base
\n– Fuzzification
\n– Defuzzification
\n– Membership function<\/p>\n

The speaker for this presentation is Patrick Bouwman, a semi-retired electrical engineer with over 40 years of experience.\u00a0 He\u00a0thought courses in industrial electronics; instrumentation, automation, process control and electronics for over 20 years, and provide technical training to the Automation and Process Control Industry.
\nHe also wrote numerous instructional manuals including ones in Analog and Digital Electronics, Signal Processing, Automation, Process Control, PLC Programming, ISA-5.1 Technical documentation, Robotics, Computer Automation, Distributed Automation, and Medical and Military Electronics.<\/p>\n
